Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Atlas 3DSS handles information when a contractor uses the Atlas LYS Island Extractor Windows application.
Information the application accesses
Most processing is local. The application reads only the LYS files and folders the worker selects. If the worker optionally connects Google Sheets, the application requests permission to view and edit Google Sheets and accesses:
- spreadsheet and tab names and structure for the worker-selected workbook;
- existing client headers, dropdown rules, and work rows needed to locate a valid destination;
- the Atlas client-name list used to populate client choices; and
- the grouped work descriptions and point totals the worker explicitly confirms for writing.
The application does not request Gmail, Google Drive file-management, Contacts, Calendar, advertising, or profile permissions.
How information is used
Google Sheets information is used only to verify the selected contractor workbook, display valid client and month choices, prevent malformed writes, repair broken client-dropdown validation when confirmed, and append the worker-approved monthly work entry. Atlas does not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.
Storage and transfer
The Google OAuth refresh token is stored in Windows Credential Manager on the worker's computer, not in the application's settings file. Appearance and destination preferences are stored locally. Spreadsheet data travels directly between the desktop application and Google APIs over HTTPS; the application does not route Google Sheets contents through an Atlas-operated intermediary server. Confirmed entries remain in the destination Google Sheet under that spreadsheet owner's normal Google retention controls.
Sharing
Atlas does not sell Google user data or share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Information may be visible to people who already have access to the selected shared Atlas contractor workbook. Data may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the security of the service and its users.
Control and deletion
Google connection is optional. A worker can use Disconnect in the application to revoke Google authorization and remove the locally stored credential. A worker can also revoke access from their Google Account permissions. Removing local authorization does not delete entries already written to a shared spreadsheet; deletion of those entries is controlled by the spreadsheet owner.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Atlas LYS Island Extractor's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Security and changes
Atlas uses OAuth authorization, HTTPS API connections, local Windows credential storage, and explicit confirmation before spreadsheet writes. This policy may be updated as the application's behavior changes; the effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
