Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Atlas LYS Island Extractor Windows application provided by Atlas 3DSS (“Atlas,” “we,” or “us”). By using the application, you agree to these terms.
Purpose and eligibility
The application is a work-recording utility intended for Atlas personnel, contractors, and other users Atlas authorizes. It reads saved island-detector information from user-selected Lychee Slicer .lys files, helps users review calculated point values, and can optionally export user-confirmed work entries to an authorized Google Sheet.
Optional Google connection
You may use clipboard and CSV features without connecting a Google account. If you connect Google Sheets, you authorize the application to access the selected workbook as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect the Google account at any time.
Your responsibilities
You agree to select only files and spreadsheets you are authorized to access, review filenames and calculated values before confirming an export, keep your Google and Windows accounts secure, and promptly report incorrect or unauthorized entries. You may not use the application to access another person's data without permission, disrupt the application or Google services, introduce malicious code, or violate applicable law.
Work records and compensation
The application assists with preparing work records; it does not create invoices, approve work, guarantee payment, or make a final compensation determination. Island counts, port classifications, point calculations, and spreadsheet destinations can require human review. Users remain responsible for confirming exported information and requesting corrections when necessary.
These terms supplement and do not replace any separate contractor, employment, confidentiality, client, or payment agreement. If these terms conflict with a separate written agreement regarding compensation or ownership of work, that separate agreement controls.
Files and intellectual property
You retain whatever rights you already hold in files and work content you select. Using the application does not transfer ownership of that content to Atlas. Atlas and its licensors retain their rights in the application, its interface, and its supporting materials. These terms do not grant permission to use any client's or third party's models, trademarks, or other materials beyond the permission you already have.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue application features, including integration behavior required by Google or Lychee Slicer changes. We may also update these terms as the application evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided “as is” and “as available.” Atlas does not warrant that every decoded value, heuristic classification, third-party integration, or export will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Atlas is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the application, loss of access to a third-party service, or user-confirmed submission of incorrect information. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the application and disconnect Google access at any time. Atlas may suspend access for misuse, security risk, loss of authorization, or violation of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will survive.
